Tahoe XC will still be embargoed after Friday's races, because we have more there the next day. However, you might want to run up to Tahoe Donner Friday afternoon after the relay. The manager at TD, JoJo, said she would offer reduced trail passes to racers who came back later in the week.

Congratulations on winning Green Long! And by a whopping SIX minutes! Where are the New England competitors? Are they all setting courses? Too bad Orlyn didn't come down for the event, and give you some competition.

And you finally made it to 50/50! Can't believe you haven't been up there every night for dinner as well as some beer, entertainment, and "cute ones."

Kinda sucks since we paid for the ski pass. :( but I totally understand.

Thanks, as the green course was a lot of fun! 50/50 is pretty expensive as we could buy a 12 pack of Ranger IPA for the price of two beers there. We are making great group dinners here at the house. We did miss the Wed. Night reggae music at 50/50, bummer.

Good point, but can't get any serious $ breaks on the trail passes from the ski areas. Alternatively, we could move after each day, so you could ski all you want after the race. If we had been able to use Bear Valley, we would not have been at Tahoe XC for 3 days. Embargoes were more serious this year because of the World Cup racing and unique secondary trails we put in.

Tomorrow after the event we will ski the trail to warm up for the sprint and we could help pick up some controls also.

Well with such deals, you should cancel your return flight and stay out there. 'Cause there ain't no snow within 300 miles of Kenosha right now...and I'm not counting that ice skating rink at Lapham.
