We should set some terrain loops or orienteering courses that stick to the nicer forests in the Fells.... that way you can get a good training in without also donating blood at the same time. On the plus side, it's a lot nicer to run there in the winter when the snow is covering the worst of it.

Wandering around my control-wakeup sector on Sunday was highly enjoyable and inspired the thought of terrain loops. There are some really awesome woods to the south of the Sheepfold.
