Whoa, words. Very exciting. Excellent training, dude; you shall become even more formidable than you are now.

Words do not a Jedi make. I'm currently watching my dinner bubble over on the stove because -- like normal -- I have over-filled our frying pan. But I do have a moment to log real words as the cornstarch starts to thicken things.

Those veggies look good.

You need a larger pan!

We always need a larger pan! This was a common problem at home as well, when we actually did have a variety of kitchen supplies.

You seriously need a bigger pan - doesn't IKEA have massive woks? That's where we got ours.

I already miss having you guys cook for us, but sounds like good times in Sweden.

We spent almost 2000 Kr the first trip to IKEA, and we were being a bit cautious with the kitchen supplies so as to not go even higher :)

Good times in Sweden indeed, there was a great moment on the training course tonight, where we were standing in a remote marshy field and everything was hazy and misty and the setting sun was lighting it all in a startling and special light. Very cool.

20,000?

You can get a lot at Ikea for 2000 sek! We spent less than that on our last trip and were definitely maxed out on our two-person Ikea bus/metro carrying capacity. And that's even though I spent 1/4 of it on one frying pan. (I have high standards for frying pans. I do not have high standards for plates, silverware, or doormats.)

We bought mostly kitchen things (plates, glasses, frying pan, etc.) and lights. Nothing that wouldn't fit into a bag, so no big furniture.

By doormats you mean Boris right?

We did indeed get a Borris. Borris has to sit outside our apartment though :)

Cristina:
We have a Borris outside out apartment, too. Maybe some day we'll have a Boris inside!

Yay. I like being inside apartments.
