I'm thinking about it as well, since Walt and Patty are coming over for it, and I need a long run this weekend. But Tyler's Trail Challenge is the day before, so I will make a game-day decision.
I like the 10.01 - a lean at the finish line.
My goal was to do 10 miles, and I thought the out and back with a small loop that I picked would give me 10 with a bit to spare, so if I was dragging, I could walk the last couple of tenths of a mile. However, there wasn't anything to spare. Not that it would have been disastrous to do 9.9, for example, but I have some mental image of 10 miles being the dividing line between any old run and a "long" run ... doesn't make sense I realize.
Mike, hope to see you down there. I'm opting for the 6K trail challenge, as I wanted to see what it was all about (sounds like a nice concept), but I didn't want to totally wear myself out.
