If you have not already seen, Start times are posted.

Also, the event notes (including course notes) and a quick reference card are posted.

The woods are looking beautiful, the forecast great, and the courses are ready. I hope everyone is prepared for an awesome weekend.

Me too, been waiting for this for 22 years (I even found the "dont ask dont tell" 1989 pink T-shirt).

Graeme, that means you've been waiting for this meet longer than some of the organisers have been alive. A sobering thought for a sunny royal wedding morning!

Yes. And they showed their respect for age with an 8am start time. Since I'm coming from the West Coast that's really 5am. So, excuses in early, and good practice for Jukola :)

It's ok. I'm sure even at 8am they'll still call you "Sir".

As would only be appropriate. Graeme is of course well along his way on the path to Knighthood, though what specific matters he will be knighted for remain somewhat up in the air, and must necessarily remain mysterious until the actual ceremony. However, the odds suggest the thing that might do the trick will be his ground breaking research that finally enabled culinary scientists to once and for all determine the definitive cooking temperature of a range fed Texan.

Ah yes, the "sir" thing! I may not be properly attuned to the Americen irony, but West Pointers and Oxbridge Porters are the only people able to pull it off at the nice line between it meaning "I want some of your money" (hotel staff, beggars) and "I'm paid to be polite to you" (policemen).
