The site is restored from a backup made yesterday morning at 01:45 EDT (05:45 GMT), which is about 2 hours before the outage began.

Apologies if you posted anything during that time, I am not currently able to restore that stuff, but it should be possible at some point later once the datacenter problems are completely resolved. Feel free to re-post in the meantime, I will worry about properly merging things.

Sorry, and thanks for your patience.

Update 4/24 07:30 GMT: all missing updates have been restored (except in cases where you re-posted them yourself)

Thanks and keep up the good work. Made me just realising that i am logging only here on attackpoint my training. So never quit attackpoint, all the training of my last couple of years would be gone...

If you are concerned about backing up (though ken clearly is vigilant), you can extract your training log in .csv format.

Ditto on missing it (a community). A whiff of what internet access/usage might be like in a third world country under a despot.

There's a new analysis of the outage on the Availability Digest here.

Beware the fat finger.
