The Salomon Dontgetlost.ca Snowshoe Raid is on its way to a sell out this winter (100 teams of 2). But what is interesting is the ratio of men to women. At this point in time we have 19 coed teams, 21 all-male teams and 22 all-female teams registered!
In addition to that all of our family and super masters teams are coed.
And in our masters category, 5 are coed, 5 are all-male and 2 are all-female.
So we currently have participation levels at 48.7% female, 51.3% male.
is our race an anomoly? Hopefully not. What is the participation stats trend in the outdoor-adventure sport arena?

That's awesome! Would love to see that trend continue across the other races.
