Hello everyone,

I did not get to enjoy the 2010 North American Championships, but I heard about all the good things associated with it.

Are there any photos or video of some of the festivities, the arena, the happy competitors, etc.? I’d like to get a taste of how it was done.

Thanks!

Pi did up a series of arena site maps for all the naoc venues. He might be able to post those or send you a copy. We found those to be quite helpful for set-up on the day. Also the radio controls which beamed times to the announcer's computer and the great job done by Greg & Vlad with the announcing where huge components. That and Pi's overall vision for the arena and wanting to take it to a new level.

I too would be interested in seeing the arena maps and would be grateful if they were posted here.

Actually, I never completed an arena map for the Long. At least not in the computer, but there might be a sketch on paper somewhere.

I have the arena files for the Middle and Sprint, and I have also posted the warm-up maps, which were handed out to participants in the race package.

Is there still a registration or results list with bib numbers available anywhere? It would help with adding identification to photos.

It appears that the NAOC website is no longer available. Are the results available anywhere else?

The Orienteering USA results page lists this web page for the results. It links back to AP for some results. (Thanks to Jim and KOC.)
