It was more like a relay this year - 12 starters in Stafford, 10 of whom went to Bolton Notch (2 did shorter segments). 2 additional runners ran Bolton Notch to Cobalt, but a few folks who were originally planning to do the full run decided half was good when they got to Bolton.

So it was about 4:30 Stafford to Bolton Notch, and 5:10 i think on the Bolton to Cobalt - though there were some disappearing trails on the latter section.

So it looks like 46-48 miles in just under 10 hours with the caveat that the 2nd half was done on fresh legs. :-) But finished in the dark...

Here's Scott's writeup on the 2nd half.

There's some discussion going on about doing a Devil's Path throughrun/fastpack next year and the possibility of doing the New England National Scenic Trail (220 miles) in a low-key relay style - keep a group of runners on the trail, swapping out bodies with a leap-frogging aid van. Run, nap, eat, drive, repeat.... Logistics to be determined...

Shenipsit E2E looks likely to become a post Thanksgiving tradition as well..
