The last three weekends have included race events. I placed the rest day immediately before the events. Until your race, I can get back in to a routine and the rest day will fall immediately after the weekend workouts. However, with my knees hurting, I may consider extra time off.
Do you like my new name? Perhaps you should alternate rest day, run day to help your knees. My knees are reacting a bit too. And I can't figure out the minor weight gain???
