Both Aislinn and I had extreme trouble with 8. We both went from the fence corner and ended up I know not where. Eventually found it in the green. Seemed very low. The green made it hard but there seemed to be something very strange in the mapping in this spot.
Your comment about like europe was spot on. The first comment I made after crossing the line(except for saying how physical I found it) was that it reminded me of Sweden. Soft and rough underfoot and poor visibility. Weren't the Oak forests great.

Where are the oak trees on that map? Maybe they have grown up since I last ran there (or not).

I think it was lower down the spur, I went from the Fence T junction, then into the gully, found the dam wall, so went up on the spur, got the mine shafts, then down to the gully. Was a bit green in there...
