Are you taking credit for and examining the good legs you had also?
I am in my own head, I suppose I didn't want to write even more of a book than I already had :) and the mistakes make for much better reading usually.
7 on the middle was good. a tricky control after a huge mistake... I was able to shake the etch-a-sketch and not let my mistake on 6 distract me. 9 on the middle was also good, though Eddie really burned up that hill (rocket pack maybe??) I was in good control when I knew the leg could be tricky when I was planning.
I had great confidence on all the controls in the sprint (even ran very strongly to the wrong rootstock on 6), but 5 and 13 stand out as good legs for me there.
On the long I was very happy with 12, 16, 20.
The things that made all these legs feel so good was combining running at speed with anticipation of what I was expecting to see. That it the feeling I try to channel when I prepare for a race.
I think that's the same feeling I get when I'm having a good race. I've noticed that meditating and visualizing before the race do a fairly good job of getting me in the right mindset to do this. Have you noticed any ways to recreate that feeling?
