Try either neopreme booties or plastic bags to keep your feet dry. Our papers are delivered in long narrow plastic bags which are perfect. Used them a lot last season but this year I have been using smartwool type socks instead. Have not had cold feet at all.

Yeah, I have neoprene booties *and* smartwool socks, but my toes still get cold very easily. My switch to decent ski boots a few years ago helped alot, but the problem Sunday Is I forgot my gaiters and snow went down from the tops. I've used old map cases before, but I only had one with me and needed it for the map. Maybe I should try these duck boot things, whatever they are? Worried about the DVOA sprints this weekend with snow on the ground and more forecast. I can't wear O shoes in the snow - even with the neoprene I will freeze.

Just run fast enough and you'll be off the course before the toes are getting even a little chilly.

Best solution for cold toes is a good warm hat! Keep the head warm and the rest stays fine.
