Oh its hilly, but sound like you had decent equipment, which is good. How much was the rental?? I think you might want to wait till the end of the year at this point to buy or early next year. I have some equipment that you might like. But you would need to change out the bindings to the boots you need to get.

Wow, thanks, Charlie. I might take you up on that. The rental now is $25/day. I'm pretty serious about buying some stuff, as i really liked it. I looked online for the stuff i rented:

Atomic Pro Skate skis ~$100 (looks like they went on sale already)
Salomon boots ~$200
binding ~80
poles?

Does that sound about right?

100 for the skis, thats good. I am going to stop at wheel & sproket today to try to change out my pole straps, as the velcro does not connect very well anymore. they probably have decent poles for $75. Swix seen to be the best right now. I can look at their prices today.

Just came back from Wheel & S at Hales corners. Might find some great deals if they have your size and flex for skis. If you want to go cheap, I have poles and a pair of skis that would need new bindings. Older stuff, but very doable untill you get serious about it.

Thanks Charlie!! I'll look for boots and bindings, cause they go together anyway, and may take you up on the skis and poles. I just can't wait to go again! :)

You better hurry because the season may end soon. The poles will need to be cut down and the skis you can take in and have them mount the bindings. Let me know when you will be around Nordic, or Lahpam Peak I can bring the stuff.
