its hard work running after 6am and before 6pm here! and the humidity!!!! i'm not a fan!
I definitely noticed the humidity when I was up there a few weeks ago (but then I notice it in Melbourne)
Could be worse - Darwin in the build-up (looking forward to seeing reports from Sus on her first proto-cyclone) or Beijing in August. The latter (6am, temperature 29, dewpoint 29) at least gave me some good stories to scare aspiring Olympic marathoners with.
I haven't ever found it this hard training in the summer, but I pretty much skipped 6 weeks of hot weather, so I'm hoping I'll get used to it fairly quickly. at least the next trip away won't unacclimatise me (vietnam). proper training starts when I get back, so it would be good not to lose too much time again.
