Congratulations on the back to back North American Rogaine Champs titles. Of course now you have to race again in the next one for the big 3-peat.

Now, don't give her ideas. She'll never race with me again if you do, unless I get a sex change.

Tree Hammer Coed Team?

Because of the Bash Rogaine Partner Curse, nobody ever rogaines with me more than once. That's going to make a 3-peat pretty tough!

Awesome race Barb! Well done to you and Backcountry Girl.

Backcountry Girl?

I thought it was Neeno.

Maybe it is... I just made up an AP nickname for her.

Thanks, Mr P!

Although the Tree Hammer Coeds would have done well on the weekend, the team just suffered a blow when one of the members ranked Catching Features - and root canals too, if I remember correctly - ahead of Rogaines on his list of favourite things to do.

Just tell me we are racing 50 middle distance races back to back and don't tell me it is a Rogaine and the Tree Hammer Coeds will be on the starting line!

Congrats again.

The person who really deserves the congratulations is Backwoods Girl (Neeno). For her to go out in very hilly terrain for 22 hours when she specializes in races under one hour (and not many of those lately) is totally remarkable to me. I train 10 hrs/week to prepare for events exactly like this, and I cannot imagine how someone could just head out and do what she did.

Neeno is a natural navigator at day and night and tough as nails like you said. You have to get her to post her training on AP now.
