I try to do night runs regularly from now on.

So, the plan is I'll set a O map on RG and give some description (parking lot alternatives, course type, about how long it should be etc). The course-setter-guest-star signs in with a username/password I'll give and he/she clicks course with mouse there. Easy and simple. Then I will draw the course on my paper map and I / we just run it. There will be live gps tracking, so the setter can see live how it goes or take a look afterwards how it went.

(this is not just for BorisGr, if someone likes to set courses as armchair O training just let me know).

Some of the maps/terrains will not be so great because I'll run some of these straight from home or maps will be within 15 min biking distance from home. But some are pretty cool 30 min drive away maps.

And I am happy to do it the other way round, set courses for you. I can even set up live gps tracking if you happen to have s60 Nokia phones nearby.

Jagge, this sounds great. When do we begin?

We'll have long training somewhere next Saturday, so we could try that. And I think I'll do one shoer night run (about like yesterday) from home at thursday or wednesday after watching Yökuppi final. So if you like you can practise the process by setting up a short night training, but next weekend's training in a more serious terrain would be more fun for you. So it's up to you, I'll send you more details later today by email. Does this sound ok to you?

Do you have any training sessions coming? And have you got any suitable tracking devices around?

This sounds good. After this week, I will try to get back to organizing some training sessions and will let you know. It is often difficult to get into parks after dark in the US, so I need to investigate where I can and cannot be. We are pretty low on tracking devices, so I think we will hold off on that part of the experiment for now.

How about some street O with http://www.openstreetmap.org/ maps?

Thanks. I'll run it tonight right after Yökuppi final.

How about setting up 2 hour training course for Saturday morning? I plan to find place for car parkning by the Laitamaa road, close the radio mast. 250m between norh lines.
