I'm enjoying reading your blog...
as a fellow caffiein fiend I have found that McD's will do in a pinch....not bad coffee, (since they upgraded it a bit) and you can find it in small remote towns.....I will always go to the local shop first but its a decent back up......
I've heard McDs isn't bad, but I prefer to find a mom-n-pop place first.
Actually, I found McD's old coffee to be surprisingly good. What they are serving now should have Starbucks very concerned, especially as many of the shops are now offering WiFi and more upscale seating. All that said, I'm with Pete, buy from the locals whenever it makes sense. It's an extra dollar well spent.
I was recommended Coal Creek Coffee last time I was In Laramie. And they are good. But after the job interview at the next table over, I now know probably more than I should about them!
Thats better than the massage therapist interview Kari and I could not avoid overhearing sitting at the Dunn Bros coffee in Linden Hills....
