Discussion: Bugs?

How are the bugs at Mendon now? I dread going in the woods around here this time of year....

Due to a very wet summer mosquitoes are rampant but are easily deterred with repellent. Other flies are on the downswing. I spent 4 hours there yesterday checking controls, doing map updates and picking black berries and got NO bites. I did get a few scratches and a thorn embedded in my forearm. I think that by mid Sept. it will not be a problem, especially since there will not be any berries to pick.
