Discussion: Differences between Electronic Splits and Watch Splits

There was a difference between the electronic splits and my watch splits on five controls. The overall time was the same, but the sometimes the splits were either faster or slower. The following corrections have been made on attackpoint: 6 -electronic was 11:56, but was really 10:18; 7 - electronic was 1:56, but was really 3:35; 8 - electronic was 12:48, but was really 11:11; 10 - electronic was 8:19, but was really 9:56; and 15 - electronic was 1:58, but was really 21.

Several e punch boxes were not working (as found by us early runners). They were replaced quickly, but were synched from a different computer (with a different clock) than was used for the original set of boxes. Hence the discrepancies. (According to Val)
