If you follow the link Joe posted, I think it might lead you to believe there is even less to do in Cobb than you might have imagined. Clearly, jousting with the local motel owner is one of the area highlights.

We had a similar experience when checking in at our place. They had no record of a James Mcgrath with a reservation. It seems they had double booked our cabin. Clem produced his (correct) reservation confirmation, and as we were here first, we got the cabin. Not sure what happened to the other poor souls. The proprietor, who also owns the local pizza joint, was excited to see us and asked about the "2000 people coming to the Orienteering Championships." Apparently she had prepared lots of extra dough. She seemed disappointed when we told her it would be more like 200-250, but all of them hearty pizza eaters. Strange things are afoot in Cobb, C-A.

Well, there doesn´t seem to be much in terms of night-life in Cobb - but Western Metal Detectors sounds interesting...
