That was a pretty cool and unique routechoice. I didn't think of it when only looking at the map. I still think approaching from the south is slightly faster, but certainly not as fun as using the slide.

I think the real fast route would be to jump off the top of the slide into that soft dirt. The map has the top wall as uncrossable, but not the wall along the steps, so it's a legal maneuver. My split for the leg was 5th, only 5 seconds off the fastest, so my route was clearly good enough and how often do you get to do something like that?

Sprint 2 would have had to do the slide uphill - I used the stairs.

No ISSOM mapping symbol for 'slide'?

I think the best you could do with the ISSOM set would be to map it as a paved area next to the steps. Still doesn't imply that you can slide down it, but at least lets you know you don't have to run down steps (I generally avoid steps as much as possible). However, given that the slide was in plain view of the start (and drawing a fair bit of attention) I don't think there was an issue with it being a viable or even optimal route.

And, yes, I went back up the stairs.
