It looks like the key strategy was to stay out of the vegetation as much as possible?

Vegetation wasn't that bad, the main reason I stayed out of it is I cant bring myself to run on garden beds, especially in a sprint race. For example, I lost time on 14 cos I couldn't bring myself to run straight, even when there were competitors running through them in front of me
