I couldn't get the .GPX upload function to work from home this morning.
Route Gadget does not work behind my work firewall, so I'll try again at home later.
My GPX export is becoming a saga.
Home computer 1: Sports Tracks now refuses to function. Something has broken in the sytem files. I have no idea and fear a major OS rebuild imminent. Extracted the files using another program. Then resorted to manual editing of the csv export file before converting to GPX. The export seemed to work, but RouteGadget had indigestion on the file.
Work computer: Can install the software and export to the Gadget, but can't install the drivers to allow me to interrogate the garmin.
Home computer 2: Can't install SportsTracks as it needs MS NET. Can't seem to install that as its a 'pirated' OS and I seem to be behind on intermediate upgrades. Its not actually pirated, just that the old installation needed to be rebuilt and I had lost the codes.
Home computer 3 Can install Sport Tracks and MS NET. Was brought up to a halt when I found the CD drive refused to open and I couldn't get the drivers installed from the Garmin CD. I know this is simply solved, but I ran out of time.
Maybe tonight I will get it up. Liked watching Jims Garmin track. It clearly shows the difficulty of keeping a straight line. Don't believe Simon's route. Too few kinks.
