I really hope your condition improves quickly - or at least you soon figure out what it is so you can treat it! Attackpoint is a community, and you have nothing to be sorry about expressing yourself and being authentic. I enjoy seeing glimpses of friends' lives in all their triumph and suffering. If you're anything like me, you will benefit from the perspective on your life that your attackpoint log will provide when you look back years from now.

Hang in there; you are mighty! All the best.

Have you tested for Covid to at least rule it out? Probably worth testing for Lyme, given your preferred pastimes, but that is harder to do than an at-home Covid test. Could it also be your body reacting really terribly to pollen or something?

Or a terrible, new, as-yet-undiagnosed disease.

Regardless, I hope you feel better soon!

Thanks Ian, I appreciate the support. I don't know why but sometimes I just feel like I complain a bit too much. Right now I like to think it is justified though; I'm feeling significantly worse than I remember feeling when I had covid.

I have tested twice for covid and will continue to do so because I've seen tests take up to days to finally actually show positive. Going to call the doc today about getting a Lyme test too though.
Fingers crossed you can get a negative test soon Alex!

Neck hurting and the hot and cold symptoms and tired were all things I got when I first had lymes. Neck was sore to move side to side more though I think than up and down. So sadly wouldn’t rule lymes out yet! Really hope it isn’t however the antibiotics or whatever I got (I was ten here!) totally helped!!!!
Fingers crossed you work it out and feel better!!

I am feeling a lot better than I was but ya I think I am still going to test for lyme just in case because the symptoms really fit and have been out trail running and orienteering quite a bit recently. Hopefully it turns out negative though.

The best way to avoid being bitten by a tick is to bite it first.
