Discussion: Registration open for Nash-O first scheduled meet

Come support a new club! This might be a first meet but it might not. We have one Orienteering Map complete with another coming soon. If enough people express interest, maybe we can hold an informal Sunday meet on a new map. Nashville is worth a weekend visit for sure!

Woo, a new club!

In a state where orienteering has been quite rare for a long time!

It is always great to see a new club. I see Nashville Orienteering is now on facebook, has a website and has scheduled their first event. There are always those who ask what we can do to promote orienteering. Well, even if we can't attend their event, it would be nice to support this new club so they can purchase equipment, make maps, and get the club off to a good start. To that end, CAOC will be donating $100 to Nashville-O. Imagine if a number of clubs would make a small donation - perhaps we would see orienteering flourish in Tennessee.

The Nash-O Paddle-O now has an early bird discount in place. Sign up early by March 11th for the discount. The late fee has increased and date moved up as well. The late fee kicks in on March 31st. Still plenty of time to sign up.
