Retained the help of a professor of classics for choosing the terminology to announce that the course has been defined, a Fumata Bianca can be seen coming out of the chimney.

Hmmm. I love all the terminology, and wonder about the Latinity! The Rogaining origin I looked up quickly, three Aussie names combined. So then at Raccoon State Park you got Raccoongaine. Delightful but not Latin. There are ways to put Latin on the end -- -ensis is the geographical way: Mediolanensis is a guy from Mediolanum, and now its Milanese, pretty productive in the sense that we've got people and dishes with lots of those endings. If you want to keep Rod and Gail and Neil *and* the raccoons you might just really simplify the Latin suffix and say Raccoongainium habemus. Or cursum Raccoongainiensem habemus -- meaning "the orienteering checkpoint-series for the rogain competition at Raccoon Park" is agreed to.
