This race started just a few hours ago and looks like a doozy. Sounds like about 30 teams toed the line in spite of Covid lockdowns in parts of Australia. Who else is following this one?

Quite a few of the Aussies watching, including those of us who were meant to be at the event (*cough* tRicky) but ended up caught by Victorian Lockdown.

What the heck is going on with Resicon Thought Sports on the river paddle? They've turned around and have been paddling up river for about an hour. Dropped passport, maybe?

Nah parallel features. They thought they were further up near the control, and missed it so doubled back, realized they hadn't gone far enough, and then continued on.

Reviewing the maps linked above and finding that the CPs shown do not align with the tracking maps. Going to guess these were preliminary maps, not the actual race maps that the teams are using. That's a bummer for us.

I believe the race support crew are uploading the correct maps to dropbox as we speak.

Hmmm. Now that I look at map 6 again, it is still not showing the correct M and G CP locations.
