Nice work! You've spoiled those rookies with a win out of the gate. ;-) Yeah, the weather was definitely not what you would expect for a Memorial Day weekend. We, fortunately, didn't have to paddle until the very end, and it was pretty short, but the whole race was wet with rain, tons of stream crossings, marshes, and just wet forest. Gore-Tex Pro for the win for sure.
