The results from the 2019 Charles Baker Rogaine, CNYO's 29th annual 6/12/24 hour event are now up on our website,
http://cnyo.us.orienteering.org/results.html You can find either the short version including just scores for each duration event, or a more complete listing of the splits for everyone. There is also a pdf of the map for the event. For those who want the really brief summary, winners of the 24-hour event were Mark Lattanzi and Dennis Wilkinson, who got to 50 of the 51 control points, in the 12-hour Francis Falardeau and Jean-Francois Seguin, and in the 6-hour John Boland and Linh Daino. Weather for the event was beautiful during the daytime hours, but local intense blasts of rain passed through the area during the night, leaving some teams almost untouched, and others drenched. The worst downpour in the hash-house area came through starting about 11:30, temporarily drowning out the computer doing the downloads, but getting it into a car and dried down with a towel quickly restored functionality, so results were minimally delayed. As many of the people who were at our rogaine at the same venue seven or eight years ago were noting, the rain hardly compared with what it was like when Hurricane Irene hit about 14 hours into that event! Most teams this year seemed to have really enjoyed the course.
