For those of us who now know our total donation amounts, a reminder of where exactly to send the money would be great.
Excellent! We never doubted you, even when you played down your abilities.
Feet, you can probably make an online donation at OUSA's website, and note that it's a donation for the jr team for PG's challenge.
I'll wait until the end of the year & see how many miles you have then.
PayPal is fine as long as it is accompanied by an explanation so I credit it to the correct place.
Alternatively send checks made out to Orienteering USA (not just OUSA) to me at 824 Scotia Rd., Philadelphia PA 19128, with a note so I know what it's for.

Really??
That didn't go away when we dropped BoA (in Forest Park, GA)?

While not required, if you tack-on the transaction fee -- 2.2%+$0.30 (USA) -- that will assure that MF2 gets your entire pledge.
Peggy -- It's been quite remarkable how something like this affects one's morale. I've been in a good mood since this started, getting out the door is easy, staying out easy as well. I've been taking every opportunity to put in a few extra miles because the weather can (and will) get really unfriendly, but December has been benign so for. So the whole thing has been a pleasure.
It may get a little harder now. While 5K was the primary goal, the plan all along has been to do what I can up through 12/31 -- my own pledge was based on miles up through that date. And it seems like others have similar pledges, yourself included. So I will keep going, weather and conditions permitting, because it is for a good cause, and the motivation is wonderful.
Right now we're at about $6,500. If I can keep at it, it may get up to $7,500 or so. And, of course, it's not too late for anyone to join in.
Plus, there's still my mom. No luck contacting her yet, but I'm optimistic.... :-)
Nice work! Time to pay up.
I conveniently received a donation envelope in the mail the other day, so it will be easy for me to mail a check once the dark blue bike is done cleaning me out.
I've been really enjoying following along with your journey. You say that having this goal improves your mood - well, it also improves the mood of your readers. Thanks for the smiles. That image of you slipping and sliding around the corn maze on a bike - amazing!
I never had a doubt! You're a machine...and a superstar.
$150 on its way to Scotia Rd.
Well done! Thanks (to you and your community) for making this happen. Yours is a very worthy cause and a fine effort.
Yeah, woo reaching 5k goal! Keep on at it!! =)
