I need to email you soon asking you some questions about Swedish life that hopefully you can help me with a bit - like working and living and general Swedish existence :)
I will be VERY happy to do that.
Boris, now that you've spent so much time living in Sweden...what do you think of:

What tips would you add?
You've been in Sweden for over 2 years? Boy does time fly...
Yup, I pretty much agree with everything Spike wrote back then in 2005!! (Especially the part about the master's thesis. :) Unfortunately, OK Linné doesn't have a club coach, so that is one thing I haven't gotten the benefit of.
Some things to add: try to live with other orienteers if possible - this will create a better environment for training and minimize those conflicts between activities that Spike talks about. Also, don't be afraid to speak to Swedes - even if they don't approach you first, they are nice and friendly if you make the effort. Don't be afraid to help out with things in the club - it's usually fun and very rewarding.
