Once upon a time...there was a small ski slope on the hill to the S of your tracks. Long abandoned, some remnants of the rope toe remain or did when explored there a while back.

I seem to have misplaced my copy of Paul Pearson's map of the park. Would have made a decent sprint venue. Twenty years ago the ski slope was easy to see from the perimeter trail.

I actually taught an orienteering class there for some Glastonbury middle school kids sometime in the late 90's.

It's a really small park, but it might work for sprints.
