Did you get all of your stuff? I didn't see anything else in the car that didn't belong to either me or Clint.
I did, thanks. I was worried that you'd miss a shoe or a pair since I just left them scattered about and that I'd have to wear O shoes for the trip home. But you didn't, so it was fine (which is good, since my heels were pretty blistered and I didn't really want to have to wear O shoes all evening).
Not to mention getting through security with those sharp cleats...
I can't imagine using an O shoe to beat someone into submission, but I suppose it is possible.
Consider the impression Khruschev made not even hitting anyone with a shoe that lacked metal studs - we ought to be thankful they even let us carry O shoes in carry-on luggage when we're worried they'll lose our checked bags (i.e. every time we fly).
Checked bags? What are they?
clearly the solution is to get Jeff and Hilly to drive down separately and take a "checked bag" with them :) I keep hoping that one day I'll be able to walk through a metal detector again without needing to remove my footware. That would be an omen of a golden age of air travel once more.
