Rebuilt with the same kind of spokes, or different? If you're breaking that many, upping the gauge may be appropriate, or using double-butted spokes if you didn't have them before.
My LBS guy said it was most likely a sign that that particular batch of spokes was just reaching its fatigue life (though that wheel can't have that many miles on it - I've put 1000 on it but it was pretty new when I got it). Anyway, on the advice of the bike tech that helped me out at Pan Mass I'm having it rebuilt with double butted spokes... The stock spokes were just straight gauge.
