I've just made up my mind I'm never ever going for a MTB ride with or near Dan.

I'm sure it's not his fault, despite what all his mates say. Given how much time he spends riding he probably has a much lower 'crash by association' average than most. and on the upside - he's had plenty of practice with first aid and helping ambos find crash sites.
