I want to confirm that pets are not allowed at Pawtuckaway for the camping weekend. It looks like that's the case from the event flyer on UNO's website - but would love to know if there is any way around that. Thanks!

I can't imagine anyone would have a problem with Alli bringing you to the Camping Weekend, Boris.

Are pets allowed at Pawtuckaway State Park?
Pets are allowed on hiking trails through Reservation Road only, not through the main entrance. Pet are not permitted in the campground or beach area. See the NH State Parks Pets Policy for more information.

Yeah, I saw that. But there is a note in the event flyer saying they aren't allowed in the park, and I am just wondering if any accommodations can be made or not. Does anyone from UNO read AP?

I'm pretty sure there's a sign at the front gate saying "no pets" (and meaning it). They're not a very sympathetic lot; there are plenty of thoughtless pet owners that lead to such a policy. As the owner of two dogs myself, blanket "no pets" policies can be pretty frustrating. People make problems, remove them from the picture and problems disappear:-).

As an aside, winter months are another matter and pets are overlooked, I believe.
