Hey, I just read that the N.O. Police superintendant is named "Eddie Compass." What a cool name! :)

So what was the best prep for the weekend mass starts? Reading a map on the run OR/ jockstuffin' it? I suspect there will be a lot of the latter going on out there.

And on a sad and much more serious note. Eddie you can scrap Canada as a safe roads area. Sad news.

Damn, that terrible. Funny how drivers can't see cyclists when they aren't actually paying attention to driving. Its very risky out there. You're completely naked. If another driver cuts you off in your car you might get into an accident, have some cuts and bruises and need to get your car fixed. If a driver cuts you off on a bike you are dead. Period. The stakes are so much higher. This thought rarely occurs to people in cars.
