I have some doubts about the repeatability of your scale. You ought to get something like a bag of stove pellets and see if it weighs the same every day.

My weight does fluctuate quite a bit. Yesterday was only a bowl of cereal in the AM, no lunch and soup for dinner, so the drop seems plausible. I try to be consistent about daily measurements - first thing upon rising before eating or drinking. And sometimes after exercising to monitor fluid loss. I think the scale is fine... My problem stems from getting hungry midday when at work and eating a larger meal than I should as well as multiple servings at dinner - more often because it's easier to 'finish it off' than to pack up leftovers...

For quite a long time I didn't really understand the concept of leftovers. Couldn't quite understand where they came from.
