I'm starting this thread because I'm trying to talk myself into competing in this next year. And I need motivation from my fellow racers to make the needed sacrifices of family, job, and money to get there.

I have also been waffling and just read that they are already halfway full.

"Hey, my friends! I'm sure many of you have heard, but Expedition Alaska is now an ARWS event for 2015! We are SO psyched! As soon as we were able to make the announcement, we had (literally!) SIX new international teams and three US teams sign up within 48 hours... the race is more than 1/2 full now, as only 30 teams can race."

We are planning to go as well, most likely with same team members as we signed in to PER2016.

This has become my number one desire for this season. I think it's going to be Patagonia-esque but still closer with (hopefully) fewer travel expenses. I'm stoked! You should definitely do it, Afsheen!
