Discussion: flu shot

My flu shot last week also bothered me for a couple of days. First time ever. Feeling of general malaise for 1 1/2 days. A new formula for this year? Up now.

Maybe so. I don't remember noticing it last year. Besides feeling pretty punk, the injection site is sore.

It knocked me out too. I guess the answer would be that the shot if from a strain none of us have seen before, so perhaps the immune response is a little stronger? I guess a lot of the time the shot is a repeat from previous shots/infections. There's nothing active in the shot version of the flu virus at all, so that shouldn't be it.

Well, I am much more lively today, Sunday, than I was yesterday, so perhaps the reaction has run its course.
