Discussion: Why can't he just draw to standards?

I think his mapping is OK, but his drafting sucks.

You did not answer my question: shell I eat my map in protest or throw compass at Bob, to get his attention, because talking to him does not help. Stubborn SOB :), like me.
I agree with your statement ~80%, but too much details, 1 m knolls mapped with contours, trees in the forest. From too much detail comes a desire to make symbols smaller. Who needs to reed the map on a run, when all you do is walk in your jeans all the time, orienteering just fine.
But I am not giving up on him, just have to pick my weapons, so... map or compass?

I tried to work with him. explained some things very early on. he did not listen. then the map was delayed and it was my choice to back out of course setting. I recall a conversation about printing and your name came up. apparently he did not listen to you either.
