It is a beautiful day in Mountain Lakes County Park.

Went out and put some O-Lynx radio controls out this morning, and the woods are beautiful!!

Thanks, Valerie and staff! Love the quick, thorough and visible results. Especially like the color-coded headers on the display screens at the event site!

One of the radio controls in the beautiful woods.

The results display and me, just to prove I was there.

Thanks to all of the wonderful HVO and WCOC volunteers, and a few more from other clubs, the day went so well that I had time to paddle around Laurel Lake before dinner.

Was provided a newer map version today, so will have to redo Day 1, and will do Day 2 as well. Apologies to Erik E. You will need to reupload your GPS tracks after I get Day 1 reposted.

Dodgy link to RG.
Also, on my computer, the course/runner data doesn't seem to be downloading. The server seems slow (overloaded?) I don't know if that could be causing issues.

I left my gps cable in Finland, I hope.

Thanks Valerie!

Beautiful orienteering - wide open white most of the time, a few rocks and very limited green patches on occasion. And plenty technical despite the open woods - esp. liked the section in the Northwest - outside the park in township open space - thx. for mapping that!

And thx much to HVO, vmeyer, and many others for their work setting this up - well done!

Thanks, Ken and Neil.

I think that some bots or whatever are having a merry ole time checking out the RG site. I will see what I can figure out after I get back from a swim.
