British Middle: Strensall.
More of the same.... Started steady, missed 30 sec at 5 and was passed by by Neil who must have been flying to catch the 2 mins. Managed to reel him in and just trudged around feeling every bit as lifeless as yesterday. Every time I looked up I could see Neil leaving or entering a control; not much orienteering required. Felt bad to finish ahead of him after he made a small mistake in the loop at the end.

British Sprint Qualifier: York.
On A which was surprisingly almost identical to the C heat. Ran the first 16 with Chris S until I had an extra control, looked like he was going well enough. Legs felt dead but made only 20-30 sec of mistakes. Wouldn't have qualified from this heat even if I'd had a flyer...

B final: Kept looking over my shoulder for Rob but never heard him! Technically good enough with only 10-15 sec of errors until I binned 10 sec on the last control. Mixed feelings about this really; happy with the technical side but disappointed to feel this drained after the training I've managed to get done. Great result for Chris :)
