Weights 15:00 [3]
weight:228lbs

Lazy raining morning weights, where I get up with a dog super early, then browse the internets between push ups and lunges.
8 PM

Walking 58:29 intensity: (1:35 @0) + (14:54 @1) + (4:44 @2) + (3:34 @3) + (33:14 @4) + (28 @5) 3.1 mi (18:52 / mi) +21m 18:28 / mi
ahr:150 max:179

Intended six miles, but at mile two, I received a call indicating that when I picked up Harvey from the mall, his stroller also had a jacket with a car key in it.

I think lack of sleep took out some zip. Beautiful morning.

The gentle Hand Of Hines pushed me...it was so oddly easy.

If I could be consistent about this so I wasn't always starting from scratch, that'd be great.

Nice day!

Beautiful morning. Slow to get out the door after later monkey sleepy time last night, but made the meetings. Phew!

Biking 1:16:35 intensity: (30 @0) + (58:46 @1) + (17:19 @2) 15.62 mi (12.2 mph) +63m

Powerless climb up Hines.

If I were half as fast as much faster as the gap between the people that pass me and me...adventure races would be a lot easier!

Walking 23:01 intensity: (5:46 @0) + (15:42 @1) + (1:33 @2) 0.9 mi (25:35 / mi) +2m 25:25 / mi
ahr:117 max:141

Unsuccessful walking attempt with two dogs + offspring.

Failed attempt to play Rick’s game “Find the remonumentation markers.” I had found two by accident on orienteering maps, surely I could find them on purpose with a general approximation. Nope. I’ll have to try again with the hints.

Then while the sky looked nice, it got a little ominous after dark, so hustled back to avoid getting monkey wet. We were fine, although maybe more radar checking for future big loops.

Super fun paddle orienteering hosted by Angel and Steve. I calculated poorly, and the course was 20 minutes faster than I expected. (I had Brenda and Joe to win in 2:30, they did 2:07.) I thought we would need 3:15 and thus planned to drop the two farthest 80 pointers to the NE, but as we chased hard after Cooper and Cooper James, we hit our turn around target about 20 minutes ahead of schedule, so we went for it, and then we able to get to our bailout "must be here with 30 mins" target on time as well. We didn't realize the Greens had to pick up our first c on their way back, so we worked really hard to get away from them after gaining ground by cutting through some mucky area that was less windy than their route in the main channel.

Biggest tactical error was trying to turn around in the tiny channel leaving 81 too soon. It looked like this:

Minor inconvenience: I mounted my bike map holder to the cross bar, which was too narrow, so I electrical taped to size, but then made it too big, took some off, seemed fine, but then it was too small in the field, so it slopped around a bit.

Super fun, looking forward to next year!
