Fun sprint, no errors but only sneezes of a few seconds. Fun to run "fast".

Orienteering 25:30 intensity: (5:39 @2) + (16:49 @3) + (2:32 @4) + (30 @5) 2.18 mi (11:42 / mi) +16m 11:27 / mi

Amateur hour - misread train underpasses, had no power, then overrevved anyway before nine (stopped, hands on knees) immediately before punching 9 and failing to double back for 10, skipping straight to 11 dammit. Time sucked anyway so the best time to incur a mp.

Overwhelmed by choice in several spots, looking at my track I didn't avoid as much climb would be ideal. I wish I were fit - the climb to five was killing me. After about 6, I started rolling (literally) in streams I encountered to cool back down, then I'd be dry in ten minutes, repeat. Scenic, lovely woods.

Not my finest race - failed to seal the deal in the circle multiple times, too spoiled by larger features in the homeland. I am glad I survived No Man's Land of the small depressions without too much damage.

Much better! Amazing how much the reflectors popped the controls I couldn't find this afternoon. Nailed the no man's land with deliberate bearing and pace. Minor hiccup....on 23, in a clearing! Couldn't see reflector right away, wobbled around thicket. Then slightly meandering to 9. Arguably a mistake to #1, quickly corrected, hahaha. Very fun, enjoyed my a meet night o debut.

ILRA vetting.

Garmin died hard (after 8 hours in watch mode and 3 hrs in GPS? weeeeeeak). Had to look up soft reset procedure (hold light button for 25-30s, release, press again).

Fenix appears to hide track not in activity / *.fit if it dies hard, but it shows up in the gpx folder under current.gpx. The more you know!
