Long distance at Ganaraska. I was having a great race up to the 9th control with only the usual hesitations and a couple of small errors. The tenth leg was quite long. I picked an ok route and executed well until the last couple of hundred meters when I ran off the map. I'm not sure how much time I lost, but it must have been 5-10 minutes. Unfortunately, that mistake pales when compared to the 14th leg that was ~200 m long. I spent 12 minutes finding the control. I haven't done that in a while. It will be interesting to see the splits. Again, the weather was fantastic, and I had a great day out in the woods. I hope TOC uses these maps again soon.

Middle distance race at Ganaraska. This might be the fastest pace I've run in an A-race, but I certainly could have run under 40 minutes today. I made 3 errors on CPs 8, 9, and 12 that could have been prevented. I had to walk a lot of the uphills. It was a fun map and a fun course.
