Ran about 3/4 of the way there (2.6km), then a wd afterwards for 10mins.

Midland Champs

Was quite apprehensive before I started as I hadn't ran for a week and was feeling pretty tire. Also had an eye infection earlier in the week so hoped this wouldn't arise if I got poked or anything.

Bit hesitant on some controls, mistakes on 21/22 were I just lost concentration and then 5 too, where I went in too early. My brain got so tired towards the end it just switched off. Was with Lisa White from 5 where I caught her up by 5mins, I was ahead most of the time and I'm pleased that it didn't affect me as much as I thought it would, kind of wish I could have done it on my own though.

Quite a good area, just not my preference, far too flat and fast. Would have enjoyed some more interesting route choices.

Ran quite slow, next time I'll up the pace, not many people there today so just used this as a practise really. Was 4th on W18E so not too bad.
