Running warm up/down 20:00 [2]

Note

Might go cycling tomorrow looking forward to getting out on my new bike if the rain forecast-ed doesn't come early. :)
11 AM

Orienteering (Middle) race 28:00 [4] 3.8 km (7:22 / km) +100m 6:31 / km

British Orienteering Relay Championships - Women's Short

Started off okay although made a major mistake on the first control of like 3mins, wasn't really concentrating and just ran past it and went too far, ran around aimlessly for a bit and found it eventually but I had lost the pack by then so that was the downfall really. The rest was fine and I caught up some minutes by making no more mistakes and running faster :)) Came 6th I think, Sophie Kirk won the leg like 6mins in front but she's like a super fast W21 or something so that's to be expected.

I run pretty fast when I get going in relays, much faster then normal if only I had the drive to run that fast in proper races I might get better placings haha, have to get using my 'future mind'

Overall came 4th :) which was pretty good seen as our team was far off being the top.

Had a really nice weekend some good racing, helped by being less stressed after having a good JK (ish) although Jon Carberry is sending emails currently to Nick Barrable about the Sweden tour as everyone is confused, I don't know what's going to happen, not making any decisions yet, although maybe I shouldn't have took it so easy yesterday.. hmm

Event: BOC 2012

Running warm up/down 30:00 [2]

Warm up and down

Orienteering (Long) race 49:00 [4] **** 5.8 km (8:27 / km) +210m 7:09 / km
spiked:12/15c

BOC Long Championships - Dalegarth

Got to the assembly really early as we were helping so had ages to get ready and everything. Did a okay warm up although I was too early so I ended up getting a bit cold towards the end.

Had a okay run, with no mistakes bar 2 where I didn't go far enough which was a bit annoying as I got confused by the stupid hill, -2mins and then number 10 where I had a really good route choice and everything I just didn't see the control as it was really high up the hill and the control description said it was on the side of it, went to 11 to relocate -5mins :(( Slight mistake on 14 where I went down the path instead of cutting the corner -30secs and hesitation -20secs

Not too disappointed, had a much better season than last year and that was the aim simply.

Running 54:00 [3] 6.4 km (8:26 / km) +220m 7:12 / km
shoes: Inov-8 280

Low Rigg, Keswick WCOC Series

Ran it pretty slow in preparation for the British, made a few minor mistakes mainly at number 10 though where I just didn't see it so kept going too far. -4mins. Good training course however High Rigg is so much more of a better area :( would have liked it to be there instead.

Running warm up/down 10:00 [1]

Note

Selected for Nick Barrables tour which I'm really happy about, although its the same time as Norway bar about 4 days, I really don't know what to chose :/ they both look great but Norway's kind of winning I've made agreements to meet up and train with the norweigion girls again so I can't let them down. Gonna talk to some people at the weekend and see :)
