Cycling 49:20 [4] 23.32 km (28.4 kph)

Back on the saddle after a month "break". Take the road with the best view Trigg to Whitfords Road along the coast. The tailwind disguised the lack of fitness initially, which ment I paid for it on the way back.

Orienteering 1:21:55 [3]

Bouncer Road H3 event.

Warm day, tough underfoot. Slow particularly on the long legs. My breathing at the moment doesnt allow me to run the full leg. Some treatment for the recently diagnosed exercise induced asthma may help in the future. In the meantime I just battle it out. Allowed myself to get distracted twice by other people and lost concentration to make mistakes on 6 and 8. Oherwise pleased with the orienteering after a 6mth break.

Orienteering 32:48 [4]

No serious mistakes just slow due to lack of fitness. Closed gates mapped as open were an issue. It was a bit random if you noticed that the smaller gate to the left was open or not. Just struggled physically but the orienterring was spot on. Noticed a few people on by course bouncing of features and complaining that the buildings all looked the same.

Jogging 1:10:00 [2]

Hockey umpiring - normally two do the job. My partner was late so I was on my own for the first 15m. Plenty of short sharp sprints to get into position.

Hockey 40:00 [3]

Back to exercise after 3 weeks away. Not much done during the last two weeks due to the cold air and a good dose of food poisoning. Thank goodness for the warmer climate. Understandably tough but will have a bit of work to do to take of that extra kilo.
